Upon Satisfying your financial obligation you will receive the following (which will be handed out at this orientation or mailed to your address on file):
What is a chit? Chits are money, loaded on your membership card which can be used at the bar or to pay for club sponsored functions. Additional chits may be purchased by sending a check to the Treasurer at any time during the year, however, your card (chit) balance will be zeroed-out at midnight, December 31st each year.

All Associate members are required to attend 4 business meetings in the first year of Membership (3rd Wed of the month) - 7:00 PM. Business meetings are not held in July or August unless a special meeting is called.
All Associate members are required to perform 20 hours (Dots) of volunteer time within the first year (function help, painting, or other projects around club).

Once you have fulfilled your financial obligation you will start getting emails from Secretary Corwin mycsecretary2@aol.com or secretary@marshfieldyachtclub.com These emails will keep you updated on club events, functions, newsletters and items of interest.
We also have a Facebook group that is for members only. We will post function information and other information of interest to the group.
Sue Cheverie and Rich Connolly will be requesting your help for volunteer work at the club.

- Electronic Card Key – Contains Chits and provides club access. Your electronic key card does not expire, it is yours for life. In the event that a card is lost, notify the Treasurer and you will be issued a new card and membership number upon payment of a $20 lost card fee.

- Associate Members are unable to hold an elected position or vote for an elected official
- Associate members are not allowed to sponsor other associate members
- Associate members are unable to vote on current associate members who are eligible for full time membership
Associate Members may:
- Associate members are allowed to bring guests to the club.
- All guests must sign book when entering club.
- All guests must leave with the member who signed them in.
50/50 Policy
- Drawn Nightly at 6:30 PM
- Use membership number (on your Key Card)
- Must Be Present to play (cannot play for spouse if they are not present), however, if you are present after the 50/50 has been pulled on a given day, you may play your number for the following day.
Club Hours
- Monday through Saturday 3:00 PM to close.
- Sunday 1:00 PM to close.
Function Hall, Kitchen
- Function Hall is available to rent. Fee is $250 for members in good standing and $350 for non-members. Fee includes a $50 clean-up fee.
- Kitchen may be used for functions by an outside caterer or the member that is renting the hall.
Docks
- Fill out form for wait list and return to Fleet Captain
- Float cost of $1,000.00 deposit, then $1,000 in 2022 plus an additional $50 per year each year thereafter.
- Full season rental is the current float fee plus $500 /year or $25.00 per day not to exceed current float fee plus $500
- Put in request for rental list between January 1-31
- Boat size up to 28 feet, at Fleet Captains discretion
- Two dock work parties a year, must attend both if you are either on the waiting list or have a slip.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult and must wear life jackets.
